First Event Marlboro MA

I was just told by a recent acquaintance about a trans event on Marlboro MA called First Event. It is a very nicely organized Trans Gender conference in a hotel over the course of several days. They have dozens of seminars and presentations each day on a very wide variety of topics, not sure if this is similar to some of the other events that have been mentioned on the forum in the UK but it was a surprise to me. I can drive to it daily, signed up right away when I saw it. They even have a lot of topics for spouses/family.

I was very surprised by this being to well organized and catering to cross dressers as well as trans people of all stripes.

Kathy.. There is an events section where members can advertise such events on ClubCrossDressing.com

I believe it was recently implemented.. a couple of days a go.. You might want to post there also?

Hi Sara,

Yes I will definitely report back on the event, I'm still trying to figure out which presenters to go see. More importantly, what am I going to wear for 4 days in a row in the dead of winter. I know for the Saturday evening dinner/dance I'm going to wear the blue dress I got a year ago that I've not had a chance to wear yet because it is a bit formal. I'll have had multiple more facial electrolysis sessions and be 2 weeks beyond my second round of facial laser by then so things should be looking up on that front. I'll post an update in the appropriate section on the results so far.

Hi Admin - I've not been on the club cross dressing site since my first login/registration, I'm really just dressing for myself and it seems the site is focused on dating type meet-ups so I really do not plan to access it anymore. If anyone else who is active on the site wants to post the link please feel free. I'd hate to set the expectation that I was inviting others to "meet me there" and leave them with the wrong impression.

Hi,

I just got back home this morning from the event, spent three days there but commuted thursday and Friday and got a room overnight last night. WOW - this event was fantastic, I spent three solid days going to presentations, meeting great people and learning a lot. Nice evening events on Friday (Buffet with Fashion a show) and Saturday (banquet and dance party!), my wife did not attend the seminars but came for the Saturday night events and got to meet all my new friends. My highlights were 4 separate voice seminars, all with a different technical expertise. One was led by 4 female speech pathologists, this one was very focused on integrating pitch variations into speech along with eye, hands, body position, and facial expression focus. then they did a hands on practice session. Another was given by a voice and choral coach and focused on resonance and body control/adjustments as well as focus on breath control to improve voice quality. The last was great presentation by a post doctoral researcher who was studying the impact on various non-pitch vocal qualities that go into blind identification of male and female voices. I've signed on to be a part of her study.

Well more to come! Need to get some additional sleep as were up until 3AM dancing and having a few too many drinks, and as everyone may (or may not) know the superbowl is this evening and the local team are in it again......I have 15 people coming this afternoon.
