Touching yourself . . .

Postby Summer » Tue Oct 13, 2015 6:07 pm

. . . No! Not that! There must be another thread for that . . . . . . . & if not perhaps I should start one :d

I'm talking about generally. As the male me I often find that I'm touching my face, rubbing my eyes & scratching my beardline.
These days I put on moisturiser, primer & colour correction, hopefully without it looking as if I'm wearing anything. It does seem to reduce the redness of my puffy, fat face. Towards lunch and sometimes towards the end of the day I "put my face on" again. I'm not sure whether I should do it more often too.

Does anyone else do this or do you find that touching your face when made up a little more is a problem?

In my head I look good, but then reality buts in . . . . . . .

At work, in my head, I am often saying 'Stop frowning, don't touch your face, and stop bloody talking to yourself!'.

Some times, the urge to scratch an itchy nose just doesn't go away but I do scratch more gently and, hopefully, discreetly when I've got my face on. Half an inch of slap means there's plenty there still if I do scratch a bit off.

When I'm tired, I have to consciously NOT rub my eyes, or I look like a mugged panda.
