I've felt a big drop-off in posting as well. It seemed, at some times, like I had the last post on every active topic and they would stay out there as the most recent post seemingly forever ( I kind felt like a conversation killer for a bit ) so I kind of stopped posting a lot. Now there are two paths to take. Mourn the slow drop off in activity, or just start posting lots of comments. I like option 2 . I know Debbie and Sara carried a big load in posting and keeping things active (very Thankfully) but people get busy in long periods of their lives, we should all just post a comment every time we log in even if it is just a supporting comment.
It's been through these periods of calm (to use a sailing metaphor) before.
I'm still around, but I don't post very often as my life has settled into it's new regime, so nothing's different. It's depressing and probably killing me slowly, but it's a status quo with my S/O that means we'll stay married.
Plus, I don't have a lot of time at the moment, with family, work, social life and helping out at my local non-league football club, this coupled, ironically, with the lack of spam that meant I had to visit three times a day, means I'm only coming on in an adhoc fashion.
It may pick up again - I'll continue to visit and I'll post if I have something to say
My wife has loads of spam. The Filipinos love it. They have a restaurant called 'Spam Jam' in Manila, where the menu reads like a Monty Python sketch.
I still look in here from time to time. Don't post much because I don't dress up that often due to circumstances, so not much to say & trying to keep under the radar of the hostile forces that surround me.
I am about a to post a few pics in Long term members area. I have to resize them to post on here which explains the delay posting them compared to me posting them on Facebook (lazy).
Yes the forum has died out a bit.. Our beautiful moderators and myself have been deleting the Spam from here daily to keep it clear..
We tried to upgrade to the latest version of the forum but it has sooo many issues.. and we are not alone.. other forums cant seem to upgrade either.. Really annoying..
Just to give you an idea..
Everyday.. We have to go through the "Prune Members" feature and select all new members.. then through loads of spam bot profiles (usernames) I have to see who is real and who is not.. It takes ages and some times genuine members are deleted by accident..
Really hate spam bots and spammers with a vengeance..
As some of you may be aware 2018 hasn't been good for me so far - 2 bereavements within 2 days, my Uncle and my Dad, my sister was diagnosed with MS 5 days after Dad died. All this meant that I was away from home between early January and the end of March (I managed 6 days at home during this period). Almost as soon as I returned home we were moving house and for the past 3 - 4 weeks this has been my priority.
Hopefully, I am now able to get back online permanently and back to both getting rid of spam and posting.

I have been reliably informed that I am a much bigger bitch when I am NOT Sara!!!!
