Let Me Die A Woman

Postby Sonya1 » Wed Mar 05, 2014 1:24 am

Has anyone seen this film? It's an oldie from 1977-78 but today was the first I'd heard of it.

So what did you think? Sort of dated but I think it might be interesting to revisit where we were back then. Like most pre-internet stuff, I had no idea that a film like this existed back then and, as a confused teen, might have benefitted from at least knowing I wasn't alone.

BTW - in the early part o this clip ........ I didn't know Adam (of Adam and Eve) was a ginger!

It starts ok - but that voice would eventually drive me mad.

Drove me mad very quickly.
An older man in a skirt.
In my head I look good, but then reality buts in . . . . . . .

The voice reminded me of Stephen Hawking.
& then there was the manic music...but once all that stopped looked like a very interesting film.

It seemed older than late 70's

I only smile if I have a reason...
