shoe sizes

Postby karla58 » Wed Oct 18, 2017 1:39 pm

some internet sites state a bigger size ie,
a mans size 10 would need a womens size 11
but one site suggested using a smaller size due to the shape
however as i fit a male size 10 with wide feet i have found that primark ladies shoes, size 9 wide fit really do the job apart from really pointed toes,
i am having a problem tho finding a pair of high heel court shoes with a rounded toe in a 9 wide fit so if anyone knows of a shop please let me know
i prefer to buy from a shop not no the internet tho

Hi Karla,

As you appear to be in the UK you should get away with going for the same size. You could try Diechmann as they sell size 42/43 online which equates to a UK 10 - they have several stores around the UK

I have been reliably informed that I am a much bigger bitch when I am NOT Sara!!!!

I've got a pair of black work courts and a nude work courts from Evans...

If you're after bog standard shoes, Evans do a good range in 9-12s.

I've had several pairs shoes from them.

Unless you are fortunate enough to have 'normally' shaped and sized feet, (I wish), the only reliable method is to try them on in the shop and walk around for a few minutes. If they don't feel right in the shop they never will.
