Trans pride Brighton

Did anyone go? I missed it AGAIN despite living just ten miles away. I could say in my defence that I work 6am to noon at the weekends and I am still not brave enough to use public transport but that sounds a little weak even to me. I saw the youtube vid and it looked both busy and relaxed.
Maybe next year.

I know people who go, and they all say it's very good and I should go...

In my defence, I was in France at the time as it's always on at the same time as my annual family holiday. I suppose I could suggest Brighton one year for a holiday...

Quite often, there are changing facilities at these kinds of events, so yes, you should go.

I'd love to go as it's very local to me and always looks a lot of fun. Maybe next year - I believe you're nearby Helen so I'd be happy to accompany you if I can secure permission from the domestic authorities, (I feel another train spotting event coming on!). Davina went this year and posted some fab pics on her Facebook page.

Right people, I'm going to the Trans Pride event this year (2017).
I doubt I'll stay all day but hope to do the picnic bit and possibly the march.

I've looked at the website but am still not sure about what happens really. Could anyone let me know.

No, I wasn't able to go AGAIN! but I did go a week or so ago.

Got dressed on the way and as my hair is now getting a bit longer I went without any wig, which was a lot better and a lot cooler for me. I've also started going without bras as, along with the fake fillings, I find them as annoying on my skin as a wig is on my head.
Nothing wrong with others doing that, it's what my style has turned into I suppose.

I parked on the main road just above the Brighton Arches and walked down the road towards the Lanes, window shopped, had coffee, did some real shopping and then off to the beach before going back home.

Had a quick look at the nudist beach to see what it's like as I hope to take a long rest down there one day. A bit too cold & windy for me to go starkers this time.

I also went to Camberley dressed as Summer, went shopping for mascara and had coffee again. It's great just people watching whilst having coffee. Nobody said anything good or bad either time.
Took a reasonable selfie this time.

I actually am from and still live in Brighton, and yet I've never been to any of the Pride events. Maybe I'll go next year.
